Enjoy Sports with up to $150 FairPlay Vouchers

Sports and recreational activities greatly contribute to the health and social development of children.

However, economic constraints can sometimes prevent families from participating in these activities. The Queensland Government's FairPlay Vouchers program aims to support such families by providing financial assistance. Families with NDIS recipients are also eligible for this program, ensuring children can actively participate in sports and recreational activities.

What are FairPlay Vouchers?

FairPlay Vouchers provide financial assistance for the registration fees or membership costs of sports and active recreation activities. Each voucher offers up to $150 per application.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for FairPlay Vouchers, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: Children aged 5 to 17 years.

  • Residence: Residents of Queensland.

  • Financial Status: Holders of a Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card.

Application Process

  1. Online Application: Apply through the Queensland Government's official website.

  2. Voucher Receipt: Upon approval, vouchers are sent via email.

  3. Voucher Usage: Present the voucher to the chosen sports club or recreational organization to cover registration fees or membership costs.

Benefits for NDIS Recipients

Utilizing FairPlay Vouchers helps families with NDIS recipients reduce the financial burden associated with sports and recreational activities. This support facilitates children's physical health and social skill development.
